ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

All residents are invited to attend

on Sunday, 29th September at 8.00pm

If you feel it is important that the village hall facility remains available for the benefit of our community, please attend this meeting to express your views.

To thrive, it is important that there are sufficient Trustees and helpers so that the work can be spread and does not become onerous for the few. Enthusiastic members of the village are sought to become involved with the running of the village hall. Whatever your skills you can be sure that they will be put to good use.

The agenda for the Meeting

1. Welcome from Chairman
2. Apologies for absence
3. Minutes from the previous AGM

Mr Bates vs The Post Office

Since the airing of this ITV drama our little village hall has been thrust into the limelight! Several articles have been written but one of the more comprehensive was by the BBC “Fenny Compton: The village where Post Office scandal battle began

Please note that the village hall shown in the drama is not actually in Fenny Compton but many miles away in Kent! Due to recent (January 2024) redecoration our hall is looking its best in many years and looks forward to welcoming new customers.

Damage

Please note that a recent incident has highlighted the need for users of the hall to report any damage to the trustees asap so that repairs can be initiated and there is the minimum of inconvenience to other customers.
Please SMS the booking number or email info@fcvh.org.uk

Other perceived shortcomings, suggestions or comments can be sent in the same way.
